As photographers more often then not we leave the comforts of our homes with a specific image in our minds. But we don't always create that image. I left my house last night thinking of a tree I scouted earlier and how I was going to photograph it. When I got to the tree it just didn't feel right so I drove past it. First to a one spot then another without even taking my camera out of its comfortable spot. I decided to try one more place before heading home and found a shot that defined my evening perfectly, a midnight Fisherman! Like me he was casting and waiting for the perfect catch. Thank you Mr. Fisherman!
