Favorite places
I'm often asked where are some of my favorite places and New Zealand is always at the top of my list for just about everything. This image of a full moon rising was taken on the South island a few miles away from the ferry landing in Picton. A little note it was shot on Fuji Velvia.

Time to travel
If anyone ever ask you when is a good time to travel I say the best response is NOW! Whenever I get a chance to jump in my truck or on a plane to go someplace, anyplace I go. I was reminded of a trip I took a few years back to Thailand and Cambodia when my friend sent me an email saying get some money together and come on over. So I now find myself checking airfare.

Green Creek adventure
When I find a photo op it usually means that there are multiple images waiting to be created. Here is one of the spots and lucky me I had a video camera along with me.

Back hiking!
I love being around flowing water it doesn't matter if its the waves of the ocean a small creek or raging rapids get me there and I feel at home. After spending the last 6 months sitting around due to an injury I finally got the okay to go hiking! So I packed up my gear and headed to the Sierra Nevada Mountians to recharge my adventure batteries. I even took a nice little dip in this stream (look for the image here later.) I'm refreshed and ready to go back out for another hike......

Gallery living
Every artist views his/her materials as something different. Recently I have been crawling into my sleeping bag and falling asleep in a studio that host a variety of different artist from metal workers and jewelry makers to world class wood workers. Last night while I was relaxing two artist used the same metal bands from wine barrels to create two different works of art. Above Gustaf Rooth and Benjamin Lavender do what they do best...... Create!
